Making a difference.

Grace Life Clinic was born out of the need for a healthcare facility that would cater for the community as a gospel outreach centre. It is part of the Church for Every Ward initiative where people access medical services within a radius of 1 – 4 miles.

Before, pregnant women and sick people walked long distances (7 – 12 miles) to access medical care. This resulted in some women giving birth while walking long distances on foot, while other sick people would die on the way.

The healthcare facility was built in partnership with the community as a transformational centre that will seek to minister to the whole person and touch people with the love of Christ.

The clinic provides basic health service needs that include maternity care, out-patient services and HIV testing and treatment.

“We used to walk 10 miles to access a health centre. I walked 10 miles to deliver my other four children. In December 2022, when my fifth child Chipo was due for delivery, I walked 40 minutes to the clinic. The staff at Grace Life Clinic showed me love and I delivered my baby.” – Mrs Bandera

The clinic also serves as a place where people experience the love of God. The Pastor from Christ Connect Family Church visited Mrs Bandera and shared with her about the love that God has for her. After experiencing the most dignified delivery and the love from the staff, Mrs Bandera and her husband received Christ.

The clinic serves a community of about 160,000 in its catchment area. Since its inception, 14, 221 people have received medical attention and recorded 30 babies delivered from the healthcare facility.
